The Playground Zone

The Playground Zone is my latest post on off-the-deep-end.net.

It tells a little bit about my time as a recess aide at an Elementary School.
I decided to take a 2 hour break every day from running Comfy Cozy - it's good
to get out of my home office and breathe some fresh air, even if it includes watching 300
kids running around LOL

Lots of things can happen in the span of 20 minutes when your kids are playing,
you might want to ask them about it!

Now back to designing some new Glow in the Dark pillowcases!!

Please "like" us on facebook to see what we're up to at Comfy Cozy:)

Enjoy!

Dear Santa, I'm only allowed to ask for 5 things...

Here's a post I wrote for Off-the-Deep-End. A little
something to think about when your kids are writing
their list to Santa this year.

In our home, we'll all be writing a letter and have our Comfy Cozy
Glow in the Dark "DEAR SANTA" pillowcases on our beds, too!
BTW, Comfy Cozy is having FREE SHIPPING and Special Offer on
designs, including DEAR SANTA for only $9.99!!

What do you think? Do share:)

Picking a Breed

Picking a Breed

A good article to read if you want a dog. You really
should take so many things into consideration besides
"what a cute puppy". We spent lots of time deciding to buy
our Beagle. At first we were sold just on the size/cute factor
and that a Beagle had just won the Westminster Dog Show that
year:) But then we had to get down to the serious aspects of
what kind of dog a Beagle really was and if it met our needs, abilities
and expectations. And the other part was to buy from a Breeder
or take our chances with a rescue dog. That decision is a whole
other conversation. In the end, we went with a Breeder because
we didn't want to find out a year later that the dog was going to
be bigger, smaller, sicker, bad tempered etc and we have to boys.

Make your own decision, but decide wisely:)

Barbara Corcoran: Women's Intuition 'Powerful' In Business

Barbara Corcoran is one of my heroes. Her book, If You Don't Have Big Breasts, Put Ribbons on Your Pigtails: And Other Lessons I Learned from My Mom, is one of my favorite business books. In the following interview Ms. Corcoran says: "Successful sales people spend a lot less time feeling sorry for themselves." I think this is true of successful people in general. Enjoy the interview:
